Something no one knows about me...

I still have the key to the Dade County Stockade, from when I used to provide acupuncture to the inmates there. I'm sure they have changed the locks by now.

My key to success...

Knowledge and Experience. In Chinese Medicine a practitioner is considered a novice for the first 20 years of practice. The medicine is extremely complex, and it takes many years to develop the experience and abilities for subtle discernment that are the keys to effective treatment. Additionally, I've engaged in extremely advanced studies with the world's foremost scholar in acupuncture, Tran Viet Dzung MD for over 12 years. The intense level of training and expertise as an ongoing student of Dr. Tran allow for an advanced level of expertise and rapid results-oriented treatment.

Accomplishments

Former Board member for 3 of the 6 national acupuncture organizations. Vice President and Training Chair for the NADA, the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (www.acudetox.com) Went to Louisiana to treat first responders after Katrina - then trained others in the state so that PTSD acupuncture would have sustainable availability. Created a yearly global event, where groups gathered to experience "group qi" acupuncture relatively simultaneously at 60 or more sites around the world.
